Accreditation
In order to meet the needs of our clients in the agricultural sector to obtain certification through the FSM, our laboratory in November 2019 obtained the extension of scope LE 692 (see LE 692) by the National Organization for standardization INN, including the analysis of "coliforms, fecal coliforms and e.coli" by the membrane filtration technique giving results in CFU / 100ml (colony forming units) in a period of 48 to 72 hrs.
The methodology based on Standard Methods Ed23, 2017 has drinking water, raw water (surface water and groundwater) as its scope and is based on the analysis of relatively large volumes of samples, delivering numerical results more quickly than the Multiple Tube Technique.
During the month of November 2019, the Chemistry area obtained the authorization to carry out the "Total Fat Determination" analyzes by NCh3547: 2018 and "Moisture Determination" NCh841: 2018 (see LE 265) in food matrix . Although our laboratory offered these analyzes, it was decided to change the methodologies used, in order to adjust to current national regulations
